Antibody identification was done in 15 cases who had shown incompatible major
crossmatch in saline phase and in 22 cases who had shown positive antiglobulin tests.
Of 15 cases with incompatible major crossmatch in saline phase, antibodies were
indentified in 5 cases of anti-P₁, in 4 cases of anti-Le a, in 2 cases of
anti-Leb, in 1 case of anti-S and in 1 case of anti-M. The specificities of
two cold antibodies were not identified.
Antibodies identified in antiglobulin tests were 9 cases of Rh speoificities, 3 cases of
Kell specificities, 1 case of penicillin antibody and 2 cases of anti-I.
The specificities of warm antibodes were not identified in 7 cases. The Rh specificities
consisted of 2 cases of anti-D, anti-C, and anti-E respectively and 1 case of anti-c
&/or anti-e. The Kell specificities consisted of 1 case of anti-K and 2 cases of
anti-Kpa.
